Enjoy new creative mixing possibilities in a full three-dimensional space far beyond the reach of a simple stereo panner. dearVR MICRO enables you to position signals in any location left, right, above, below, in front or behind your head.
The parameters Azimuth and Elevation give you control over the horizontal and vertical position of your audio source. Adjust the perceived stereo width of your stereo sources in the three-dimensional space using the width knob.

Effective binaural room simulation
Easily control the acoustics of the surrounding virtual room in the reflection section by adjusting the room size and the reflection level with just two parameters. Alter the reflection timbre and create unique acoustic environments by choosing between five different wall-, ceiling- and floor materials.

dearVR MICRO is a free 3D binaural panner that broadens your mixing possibilities far beyond the reach of a simple stereo panner by offering the Reflections module.
dearVR PRO 2 enhances the spatial impression by adding professional reflections and a perfectly tuned reverb module for much more realistic modeling with a feeling of true distance.
Furthermore, dearVR PRO 2 offers a variety of output formats from binaural to Ambisonics and up to 35 multi-channel output formats up to 9.1.6.
With dearVR MICRO, you can easily spatialize any mono and stereo input sources, whether you have close-miked instruments, direct signals, or virtual instruments.

The free full version dearVR MICRO offers full 360° binaural panning for mono and stereo input sources. If you’re looking for a way to monitor and control Ambisonics streams or converting your signals coming from a Sennheiser AMBEO VR mic, have a look at our free dearVR AMBI MICRO.
dearVR MICRO is installed as an AU, AAX, and VST3 plugin. All these have standardized paths, and you should not need to worry about them on Windows or Mac. We do not offer a VST version of the plugin - you need a VST3 host on Windows.
No, you are not. dearVR MICRO uses the most recent AAX versioning that is only compatible with Pro Tools 2019 and higher. If you try to use dearVR MICRO with an earlier version than 2019, Pro Tools will not find the plugin.
